I am a Lead Lighting Technical Director with over 10 years of vfx experience and team management. I am a people person and am passionate about building, supporting, managing and mentoring teams. I have been fortunate enough to work in some of the best visual effects studios in the world and this has helped me develop a good understanding of how all aspects of VFX pipeline works.

I've always had a keen interest in visual storytelling, the art of film making and computer graphics. To an extent the movie Jurassic Park sparked my interest in cg and filmaking. I could not stop being fascinated by the extravagant world of CG. This led me to be more inquisitive and I slowly began experimenting with 2D and 3D software.

I specialise in vfx lighting. It is a key component that connects all aspects of visual story telling. Lighting is used to tell a story, to set the time of day, to create the mood of a scene and to guide audiences eye to what they should be focussing on. Its a point where all the pieces come together and the world comes alive. There is always magic in creating a beautifully lit scene that feels realistic and exudes the intended mood. Its the subtlety of lighting that drew me to this art form.

Apart from vfx I have a keen interest in art and photography. As a child i grew up watching Bob Ross and he has had a lot of influence in my attitude towards art. As Bob Ross once said " No pressure. Just relax and watch it happen.". There is something meditative about art. It takes me to a parallel magical universe where anything is possible. I see my art as an extension of myself, of how I feel. I love experimenting with different media, different kinds of art forms and color. Currently I am experimenting with acrylic flow art and resin.

I also love to travel and the idea of being able to document my travels through photographs was one of the main reasons that perked my interest in the art of photography. It is also about composition and telling a story with a single frame. I try to capture a moment as it is by experimenting around with light and color.
